This page was created to help Ecuadorian teenage students learn about various national writers and their most renowned literary works through engaging activities.
Based on our research of awareness of Ecuadorian literature among teenage students, we realized that many of them do not have adequate knowledge about national literature and the most outstanding national writers. Among the main reasons why this happens is the lack of motivation generated by the activities carried out during class periods. We decided to create this website with interactive learning material based on biographical information and some fragments of the most recognized works of national authors, so that students’ interest in Ecuadorian literature is boosted and they recognize more of their culture and traditions.
We are Valentina Goya and Melissa Anchaluisa, students from the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil, from the program Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages. As a graduation project we have developed this innovative proposal that serves as an educational tool for learning more about Ecuadorian literature, its authors and their legacy.
This website aims to introduce teenagers to the rich literary heritage of Ecuador. It provides information on renowned Ecuadorian writers, their biographies, and their most significant works. Engaging activities are included to make learning fun and interactive.
